For small business

E-Signature for Small Business

Send contracts, quotes and forms by text or email and get them back signed the same day. One flat price for the whole team, not a fee for every person who needs to send.

Documents you can send

The paperwork a small business signs every week.

If it is a PDF, a Word file saved as PDF or a photo of a paper form, you can send it.

  • Client contracts and service agreements, with signature, date and initials on each page.
  • Quotes and estimates, so the customer approves before you start.
  • Independent contractor agreements and NDAs, before someone sees your numbers or your clients.
  • New-hire paperwork, like offer letters, handbook acknowledgements and policy sign-offs.
  • Purchase orders and bills of sale, when you buy or sell equipment or a vehicle.
  • Anything that needs a document back, with an "ask for a document" field so the signer attaches a photo or PDF, like a certificate of insurance.

How it works

Three steps, about two minutes.

1. Upload the document

Upload a PDF or a photo of the paper version, or scan it with your phone camera.

2. Mark what they fill in

Drag signature, initials, name, date, phone, checkbox or custom text fields where you need them. Up to 20 signers, at the same time or in order.

3. Send it and get it back

Send by text, WhatsApp, email or link. You get one email at the end with the signed PDF and its certificate.

Why MultiDocs

Built for teams of 2 to 50, not for a legal department.

No account for your customers

Your customers open a link and sign with a finger or a mouse. Nothing to download, no password to remember.

Text, WhatsApp or email

Send the link by text message, WhatsApp or email, or copy it and paste it anywhere. Email reminders go out every two days, up to three times.

Bulk send

Send the same form to many people at once, each with their own copy: up to 20 people on the free plan (it counts as one request), up to 500 on Team.

Audit trail on every PDF

The last page records the date and time, where the link was sent, IP address, device, a unique signer code and the SHA-256 fingerprint of the file. Anyone can check it at /verify.

Good to know

Per-user pricing adds up fast. Ours doesn't.

Most e-signature tools charge for every person who sends. As of November 2026, DocuSign Standard costs about $25 to $30 per user per month billed annually, and its Standard plan caps envelopes at about 100 per user per year (DocuSign pricing). Dropbox Sign Standard is $25 per user with a two-user minimum (Dropbox Sign). With five people sending, that is $125 or more a month. MultiDocs Team is $25 a month whether one person sends or thirty.

To be fair: those tools win if you need an API, integrations with Salesforce or Google Drive, a native mobile app, identity verification (KBA) or SOC 2 reports. MultiDocs has none of those. If you just need people to sign documents quickly and you want a clear record of it, you probably don't need them either.

E-signatures are valid for most business documents under the federal ESIGN Act and your state's version of UETA. A few documents, like wills and some notices, are excluded: see what cannot be e-signed.

Independent contractor agreement

A plain template you can fill in and send.

Non-disclosure agreement

Mutual or one-way, ready to sign.

Bill of sale

For equipment, furniture or anything you sell.

Questions

Small business e-signature questions.

Is $25 really for the whole team?

Yes. The Team plan is $25 a month or $240 a year, with unlimited users on one shared dashboard and up to 1,000 signature requests a month. If you need more than 1,000 a month, write to info@multidocs.es for a custom price.

Can I try it without paying?

Yes. The free plan is $0 forever: sign your own documents without limit and send 15 signature requests a month, with no card and no watermark.

Are e-signatures legally binding for business contracts?

For most contracts, yes. Under the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001), a contract cannot be denied legal effect just because it was signed electronically. Some documents are excluded, such as wills and certain court and family law documents.

Do my customers need an account?

No. They get a link by text, WhatsApp or email, open it in their phone browser and sign with a finger.

Does MultiDocs integrate with my CRM or accounting software?

No. MultiDocs has no API or integrations today. You download the signed PDF and store it wherever you keep your files.

How long do you keep my documents?

Files are encrypted in transit, opened only through a personal link and deleted 30 days after the document is completed. Download your signed copy and keep it in your own records.
